Looking for cheap web hosting in the Netherlands? Almost every host sells a low price for the first months or the first year, and then renews at a much higher price. On this page we put the entry plans of ten Dutch hosts side by side, ours included, with the promo price, the regular (renewal) price and what you pay over two years. We checked every price on the host's own website on 5 November 2026; prices may have changed since.
Entry web hosting side by side (VAT included)
Our Web Start plan has no promo: you pay €0.99 a month paid per quarter, €1.09 with monthly billing, or €10.89 a year, and the same price when you renew. It comes with 5 GB NVMe storage and 3 mailboxes on your own domain.

How we counted: prices as shown on each host's own web hosting page on 5 November 2026 (click a name for the source), for the cheapest web hosting plan, without discount codes. Most hosts show prices without VAT; we multiplied those by 1.21 so you can compare them with ours. The 2-year total is the promo period at the promo price plus the rest of the 24 months at the regular price, including VAT. For ServerSpark it is two years of Web Start: €21.78 when you pay per year, €23.76 per quarter, €26.16 with monthly billing.
- bHosted: €16.00 a year, no promo. The page doesn't say if this includes VAT; we show €16.00, the reading most favourable to bHosted.
- Site.nl: First year €0.50 a month. Renewal price €2.99 a month from 1 December 2026 (was €0.99), per site.nl/webhosting/2026-price-update.
- Strato: €3.00 a month on a 12-month contract; on a 1-month contract €3.50 a month plus €5 setup.
- Vimexx: €0.45 for the first month, then renews at €2.99 a month. Prices shown with the site's VAT switch off (ex VAT).
- mijn.host: Promo for the first 12 months, then the normal price; cancel monthly.
- Junda: Promo for the first 12-month term, then €3.99 a month ex VAT (€47.88 a year).
- Cloud86: 12 months for €35.40 ex VAT instead of €47.40. Their 3-year deal is €70.20 ex VAT (€84.94 incl.) for 36 months.
- Hostnet: 1-year subscription: €59.88 ex VAT the first year, then €119.88 a year at renewal.
- Antagonist: Intro rate for 1 year, then the renewal rate; paid in advance.
- TransIP: Promo for the first 3 months, then €9.99 a month ex VAT; cancel monthly.
In short
- Lowest regular price, same price every year. In this comparison (5 November 2026), our regular price is the lowest: €1.09 a month even with monthly billing, against €1.33 at bHosted, the next lowest. The other hosts renew at €1.33 to €12.09 a month.
- Lowest 2-year total. Over two years you pay €21.78 with us (paid yearly), against €32.00 at bHosted and €50.67 at Site.nl.
- A lower first-year price exists. Site.nl costs €0.61 a month for the first 12 months, then €3.62; Vimexx costs €0.54 a month for the first month, then €3.62. At the start that is lower than our price.
- More storage elsewhere. Our entry plan has 5 GB and 3 mailboxes. Several hosts give more storage or more mailboxes for a higher price. Need more? Our bigger plans are on the web hosting page.
When another host fits better
- Your server must be in the Netherlands. Our web servers are in a data center in Germany (EU). For most websites that makes no difference you'll notice, but if your contract or customer needs hosting inside the Netherlands, choose a host with Dutch servers.
- You want phone support. We help by ticket and email. If you'd rather call someone, pick a host with a phone line.
- You want your domain name from the same company. We don't sell domain names yet: you bring your own domain from any registrar and point it to us. Most hosts above also register domains.
- You need a lot of storage or many mailboxes on the entry plan. Strato and Antagonist include 50 GB, Antagonist, Vimexx and Junda list unlimited mail addresses.
- You want years of reviews. We're a new host. That's why we never charge you automatically, and you can cancel at the end of any period.
What to look at besides price
- Renewal price. The price after the first year is what you pay for most of the time your website runs. Look for words like "eerste jaar", "actieprijs" or "verlengen".
- VAT. Many Dutch hosts show prices without VAT. As a consumer you pay 21% on top.
- Contract term. A low price often needs a 1, 2 or 3-year contract paid in advance.
- Mail. How many mailboxes do you get on your own domain, and is webmail included?
- Backups. Are backups made automatically, and can you restore them yourself?

Frequently asked questions
Which Dutch web hosting has the lowest regular price? Of the ten Dutch hosts we checked on 5 November 2026 on their own websites, ServerSpark Web Start has the lowest regular (renewal) price, and it stays the same every year. See the table on this page for the exact prices including VAT.
Is ServerSpark the cheapest in the first year? Not always. Site.nl and Vimexx have a lower promo price at the start. Over two years, ServerSpark was the lowest total in our comparison, because those promo prices go up at renewal.
Are these prices including VAT? Yes. Hosts that show prices without VAT were converted with 21% VAT. bHosted doesn't say on its page whether its price includes VAT; we show its price as stated.
Where are ServerSpark's servers? In a data center in Germany (EU). If you need servers inside the Netherlands, another host fits better.
Can I use my own domain? Yes. We don't sell domain names yet, so you use a domain you already own and point it to us.
