Checked on 5 November 2026 at ten Dutch hosts, on their own websites: Web Start has the lowest regular price, €0.99 a month paid quarterly, every year, and the lowest 2-year total. Most hosts sell a lower price for the first months or year and then renew higher; at Site.nl and Vimexx that promo price is lower than ours at the start.

Is WordPress installed for me?
Yes. WordPress is installed on your domain when we set up your hosting. You get the admin login in your welcome email and can also log in from the control panel.
What is staging?
A copy of your site on a test address. Try a new theme or plugin there first, and push it to your live site when it works.
Are updates automatic?
WordPress core updates are installed automatically. You choose per plugin and theme whether they update automatically. Keeping plugins up to date is the best protection against hacks.
What does Redis do?
Redis keeps often-used data in memory (object cache), so pages load faster, especially for WooCommerce shops and sites with many plugins.
Can I run WooCommerce?
Yes, for a shop with normal traffic. For bigger shops with many orders an hour, choose Web Pro or ask us first.
What does "lowest regular price" mean?
Most hosts in the Netherlands and Belgium sell a low price for the first months or the first year and then renew at €3 to €12 a month. We have no introductory price: you pay the same price every year. On 4 November 2026 we checked the regular (renewal) prices of entry webhosting at Dutch and Belgian hosts, and ours were the lowest. Some hosts have a lower promo price in the first year; over two years you usually pay less with us.
How fast is my hosting ready?
We set up your webhosting within 2 working days after payment, and your billing period starts on the day it is ready. You get an email with your login details and the DNS details for your domain.
Do I need my own domain name?
Yes. You use a domain name you already own, at any registrar. After set-up you point it to us (we send you the DNS records or name servers). We don't sell domain names yet.
Are backups included?
Yes. We back up every website and its databases every night and keep them for 7 days (Web Start, Web Plus) or 14 days (WordPress, Web Pro). You restore them yourself in the control panel. We also keep an encrypted copy at a separate location for disaster recovery.
Where are the servers?
In a data center in Germany (EU).
What is not allowed?
Spam and bulk mail, phishing, malware, file hosting for downloads, crypto mining and illegal content. We suspend a website straight away on abuse. See the acceptable use policy.
