Black Friday 2026 conditions
For new customers (you've never had a service with us). Order between Friday 27 November 00:00 and Monday 30 November 2026 23:59 (Dutch time). Applies to quarterly plans of Minecraft Java 4, 6 and 8 GB, Valheim, Palworld, Core Keeper, Terraria, FiveM, Project Zomboid and 7 Days to Die (4 GB and up), Garry's Mod and Terraria 2 GB, and 1 GB Discord bots. Your first quarter costs two months' worth; after that you pay the normal quarterly price, and you can cancel any time before it renews. One discount per customer: it replaces the welcome discount and can't be combined with other codes. Monthly and yearly plans and other products are not part of the deal. The legal 14-day withdrawal right applies as usual: you pay per day for the part you used of what you paid.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
How fast is my server ready?
It is created automatically after payment, usually within minutes and at the latest within 24 hours. You get an email with the address.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. In SparkPanel or the customer portal you choose a bigger plan; you only pay the difference for the rest of the period. Your world and settings stay.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. You cancel in your account, at the end of your period or straight away. With monthly billing that is every month. If you paid per quarter or per year and stop early, you get the full months that haven't started back (used months at the monthly price).
How can I pay?
With iDEAL, Bancontact, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. You choose per order whether you pay every month, every quarter or every year; paying ahead is cheaper per month. Prices are in euro, VAT included. We never charge you automatically.
Can I install plugins and mods?
Yes. In SparkPanel you search Modrinth and install plugins or mods in one click; required extras are added automatically.
Where are the servers?
In professional data centres in the EU: Germany (Falkenstein/Nuremberg) and Finland (Helsinki). Minecraft Java servers and Discord bots run in Germany by default and you can choose Finland at checkout; other games run in Helsinki, Finland. Your data stays in Europe.
Can I try a server for free?
Yes. New customers can try Minecraft Java 1 GB, Minecraft Java 2 GB or a Discord bot 0.5 GB free for 24 hours: use the “Try free for 24 hours” button under the plan. No subscription: we never charge you automatically. One trial per person: to check this you pay €0.01 with iDEAL (Bancontact: €0.02), which we refund automatically right away. After 24 hours your server stops. Want to keep it? Choose a plan and pay within 7 days after the trial; your server, files and world stay as they are. Otherwise we delete the server and its files.
Can you move my server or set up my modpack?
Yes, for free. Already playing on Aternos or another host, or want a CurseForge modpack? Order your plan and email info@serverspark.nl with your order number and what you want: we move your world and files or set up the pack for you, usually within a day.
What does a Minecraft server cost at ServerSpark?
From €0.99 per month for 1 GB (1-3 players) when you pay per quarter (€2.97 every 3 months). With monthly billing it is €1.09. 2 GB is €1.89 (monthly €2.19), 4 GB €4.19 (monthly €4.39), 6 GB €6.09 and 8 GB €8.49. Prices include 21% VAT; paying per year gives 1 month free on most plans.
Can I get my money back if it is not for me?
As a consumer you can withdraw within 14 days of ordering: you pay only for the days since your service started and get the rest back within 14 days. After that you can cancel any time in your account; after paying ahead, unused full months are refunded (months used at the monthly price).
Is ServerSpark a Dutch company?
Yes. ServerSpark is based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce/KvK 82826757). The website, customer portal and support are in Dutch and English. The servers run in EU data centres in Helsinki (Finland) and Germany.
Which server do I need for my child and their friends?
Ask which device they play on. Tablet, phone, console or the Windows app: Minecraft Bedrock. PC or Mac with the Minecraft Launcher: Minecraft Java. For 2 to 6 children 1 or 2 GB is enough. Turn on the whitelist so only friends you add can join; we never charge your card automatically.
How much RAM does my Minecraft server need?
1 GB for 1-3 players on vanilla, 2 GB for up to about 5 players, 4 GB for plugins and 5-15 players, 6 GB for light modpacks and 8 GB for heavy modpacks. You can upgrade later and keep your world.
Can friends on phones or consoles join a Java server?
Yes. Install the free Geyser plugin (with Floodgate) on a Java server and Bedrock players on phones, tablets and consoles can join too. If everyone plays Bedrock, a native Bedrock server is simpler.
Do you host Discord bots 24/7?
Yes. Node.js (discord.js) or Python (discord.py) bots from €0.69 per month with 512 MB, or €1.49 with 1 GB, paid per quarter (monthly billing €0.79 and €1.79). Packages are installed automatically and a crashed bot restarts by itself.
