In our comparison (other hosts' prices checked on 1 November 2026), ServerSpark is the cheapest for 1, 2, 4, 6 and 8 GB Minecraft, also with monthly billing. At 1 GB the gap is small: €1.09 a month against €1.10 at MC-Node (for Minecraft versions up to 1.12 only); paid per quarter, ours is €0.99 a month.
* MC-Node: the 1 GB and 2 GB plans are for Minecraft versions up to 1.12; for the latest version MC-Node recommends 4 GB or more.
Regular prices per month with monthly payment, as shown on each provider's own price page on 1 November 2026 (click a name for the source), without temporary discount codes. KoopjeServer and Etheron state their prices include VAT; Ferox and MC-Node don't say on the page. Discounts for paying ahead: KoopjeServer 5% for 3 months and 15% for 12 months, Ferox 2 months free on 12 months, Etheron a discount for longer terms without a stated percentage, MC-Node none shown. Our quarterly price is lower than every monthly price in this table.

When something else fits better
- You want to play for free and don't mind a queue, or a server that stops when everyone leaves: Aternos.
- Only Bedrock players (phone, console) and no setup at all: Realms. It costs more per month and has no plugins.
- You want the server physically in the Netherlands for the lowest possible ping: pick a host with a Dutch data centre. Ours are in Germany and Finland.

Netherlands & Belgium
Minecraft server hosting for the Netherlands and Belgium
ServerSpark is a Dutch company in Rotterdam. This is what that means for you, and what it doesn't.
EU servers, a short hop away
Your server runs in Germany (Falkenstein or Nuremberg) by default, or in Helsinki (Finland) if you choose it at checkout, not in the Netherlands itself. From the Netherlands and Belgium that is a few dozen milliseconds of ping, which plays smoothly. Test your own ping before you order.
iDEAL and Bancontact
Pay with iDEAL, Bancontact, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer (no PayPal). Nothing is ever charged automatically.
Support in Dutch and English
By email or in our Discord, from a person who can look at your server.
Prices incl. 21% VAT
Belgian customers pay the same prices (Belgian VAT is also 21%), and you get an invoice for every payment.
Your data stays in the EU
Game servers, backups and the customer portal all run in EU data centres, under Dutch law and the GDPR.
Cancel online
Cancel any time in your account: no ticket, no call. Paid ahead? Full months that haven't started come back to you.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
How much RAM do I need?
For vanilla or Paper with a few friends, 2 GB is enough. With lots of plugins or 10+ players, pick 4 GB. Modpacks usually need 6–8 GB; very big packs such as All the Mods 9/10 need 12–16 GB.
Can I upload my existing world?
Yes. Upload your world folder through the file manager or SFTP and set its name in server.properties (level-name).
Can I run Geyser or a voice chat mod?
Yes. Geyser (for Bedrock players) works on every plan on your server's own port; see our Geyser guide. Mods or plugins that need a port of their own, like some voice chat mods: every Minecraft Java plan includes 1 extra port that you add yourself in SparkPanel (Network tab). Need more? Add the +3 ports extra in your account.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Choose a bigger plan in the customer portal and pay only the difference for the rest of your period, or email us and we do it for you. Your world stays exactly where it is.
Does it work with Bedrock (phone/console)?
Yes. With the free Geyser plugin, Bedrock players can join your Java server on every plan; our knowledge base has a step-by-step guide. Only Bedrock players? We also sell real Bedrock servers from €0.99: see Minecraft Bedrock server hosting.
Why is paying per quarter cheaper?
Every payment costs us a transaction fee. If you pay for 3 or 12 months at once, we pay that fee less often and pass the saving on to you: per quarter you pay the price shown, monthly billing is €0.30 per month more (€0.10 for Minecraft Java 1 GB and the 512 MB bot plans, €0.20 for Minecraft Java 4 and 6 GB and the 2 GB bot plans), and per year you get 1 month free on most plans. You can always end early: we refund the full months that haven't started (months used at the monthly price).
Are your Minecraft servers in the Netherlands?
No. ServerSpark is a Dutch company in Rotterdam. Minecraft Java servers run in Germany (Falkenstein or Nuremberg) by default; you can choose Finland (Helsinki) at checkout instead. From the Netherlands and Belgium that is a few dozen milliseconds of ping, which plays smoothly. Test your own ping on our locations page.
Can I pay with iDEAL or Bancontact?
Yes. iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank transfer all work. Nothing is ever charged automatically.
Is support available in Dutch?
Yes. Support answers in Dutch and English, by email or in our Discord.
Can I try it first?
Yes. New customers can try Minecraft Java 1 GB or 2 GB free for 24 hours: use the “Try free for 24 hours” button under the plan. No subscription: we never charge you automatically. You can also start with monthly billing and cancel any time in your account.
