This guide takes you from a fresh FiveM server to a running roleplay server with QBCore or ESX, using txAdmin. It takes about 15 minutes.
1. Enter your license key
Every FiveM server needs its own free key from Cfx.re. Follow Get and set your FiveM license key first, then come back here.
2. Create your database
QBCore and ESX store players, money and vehicles in a MySQL database. One is included in your plan.
- Open your server in SparkPanel and go to Databases.
- Enter a name (for example
qbcore) and click Create database. - The details appear right away: Host, port, Username and Password (click Show). Keep this tab open: you need them in step 4.
3. Open txAdmin
- Start your server. The console shows a PIN for txAdmin.
- Find the txAdmin Port under Settings in SparkPanel.
- Open
http://g-fi-07.serverspark.nl:PORTin your browser, with the txAdmin port in place ofPORT. Use the same host name as your server address in SparkPanel. - Enter the PIN, log in with your Cfx.re account and create your txAdmin admin password.
4. Deploy QBCore or ESX
- In the setup, choose Popular Recipes and pick QBCore Framework or ESX Legacy.
- Paste your license key when asked.
- At Database Options, fill in the details from step 2: host
172.18.0.1and port3306from the Databases tab, then the username, password and database name. - Run the recipe. txAdmin downloads the framework, fills the database and writes your
server.cfg. This takes a few minutes. - Click Save & Run Server.
5. Join
Open FiveM, press F8 and type:
connect g-fi-07.serverspark.nl:25571
Use your own server address from SparkPanel under Connect.
Tips
- Add scripts by uploading them to the
resourcesfolder (via Files or SFTP) and addingensure scriptnametoserver.cfg. Restart from txAdmin. - Restarts and backups: schedule daily restarts in txAdmin under Settings → Restarter. We also back up your server every night.
- Which plan? 2 GB runs a basic server. With QBCore or ESX and a few dozen scripts, pick 4 GB; with many custom vehicles and maps, 8 GB.
