Every FiveM server needs its own license key from Cfx.re. It's free for servers up to 32 players. Without a key, your server won't start.
1. Request a key
- Go to the Cfx.re portal at portal.cfx.re and log in with your Cfx.re account (or create one). The old Keymaster (keymaster.fivem.net) now sends you there too.
- Open Servers and click Generate key.
- Give the key a name, for example your server's name. If you're asked for an IP address, use the one in SparkPanel under Connect.
- Copy the registration key from the list. Use each key for one server only.
2. Enter the key in the panel
- Open your server in SparkPanel.
- Go to Settings.
- Under FiveM License you'll see
ENTER_YOUR_CFX_LICENSE_KEY. Replace it with your own key. - Start your server in SparkPanel.
3. Open txAdmin
On first start, the console shows a link and a PIN for txAdmin. Open the link, enter the PIN and follow the steps to set up your server (for example with a QBCore or ESX recipe).
More than 32 players? You'll need a paid key from Cfx.re (through their Patreon). That's a Cfx.re rule.
