Which Rust plan do you need?
Short answer: 8 GB for up to about 25 players on a map up to 3500, 12 GB for a community of up to about 75 players, 16 GB for big or custom maps and heavy plugin sets.

Order and pay
Pay with iDEAL, Bancontact, card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank transfer. Your server is created and started automatically within minutes, with its own RCON password.

Set up your map
In SparkPanel under Settings, pick the server name, World Size and World Seed. Plugins? Turn on Oxide or Carbon under Plugins and install uMod plugins in one click.

Make yourself admin
In the console type
owneridwith your SteamID64 and name, thenserver.writecfg. Share the address from SparkPanel; players join through the F1 console (client.connect).

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Can I use plugins?
Yes. In SparkPanel under Plugins, turn on Oxide or Carbon with one click, restart once, then search uMod and install plugins with one click. They load without a restart.
How do I make myself admin?
Type ownerid followed by your SteamID64 and name in the console, then server.writecfg, and reconnect.
How do wipes work?
Facepunch forces a map wipe on the first Thursday of every month. For a wipe of your own, stop the server and delete the .map and .sav files in server/rust.
Can I change the map size?
Yes, World Size (default 3000) and World Seed under Settings. A new size or seed makes a new map, so change it at a wipe.
How many players can I host?
8 GB runs a small server (up to ~25 players, map up to 3500). Memory use grows during a wipe, so keep the map and plugin list modest. Need more for a big community? Email us.
