A Rust server needs a lot of memory, so the fairest way to compare hosts is per GB of RAM. Below are the prices of ServerSpark, KoopjeServer, 4Netplayers, ZAP-Hosting and PebbleHost side by side, as they were on each provider's own website on 3 November 2026. In short: at ServerSpark Rust 8 GB costs €7.49 per month with monthly billing (€7.19 paid quarterly), Rust 12 GB €10.49 and Rust 16 GB €13.39 per month, VAT included. Prices change often, so check them yourself before you order.

What to look at besides price
- Memory during a wipe. A Rust server uses more memory the more gets built. Pick your size for the end of the wipe, not for wipe day. Details: Rust server with 8, 12 or 16 GB.
- Plugins. At ServerSpark you turn on Oxide or Carbon in one click and install uMod plugins from SparkPanel. Not sure which: Oxide or Carbon.
- RCON. Every server gets its own strong RCON password with us.
- Billing term. Rust 8 GB can be paid per quarter or per month; 12 and 16 GB monthly only. Nothing is ever charged automatically.
- Location. Our Rust servers run in Germany (Falkenstein) or Finland (Helsinki).
When another host fits better
- You need more than 16 GB: KoopjeServer has plans up to 26 GB.
- You want to pay for Rust 12 or 16 GB per quarter or per year: we don't offer that.
- You want to pay once instead of monthly: ZAP-Hosting has a lifetime option.

How much RAM does a Rust server need? 8 GB for up to about 25 players on a map up to 3500, 12 GB for a community of up to about 75 players, 16 GB for big or custom maps and heavy plugin sets.
Can I upgrade without a wipe? Yes. Going from 8 to 12 or 16 GB works without a wipe: your map, bases and plugins stay.
Why can't I pay for 12 and 16 GB per quarter? We only offer those two plans with monthly invoices. You can stop after any month, for example at the end of a wipe.
