With the free Geyser plugin, players on Minecraft Bedrock (phone, tablet, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and Windows) can join your Java server, together with your Java players. It works on every ServerSpark Minecraft plan.
1. Download Geyser and Floodgate
Download Geyser-Spigot and Floodgate-Spigot from geysermc.org. Floodgate lets Bedrock players join without a Java account. Check on that page that Geyser supports your Minecraft version.
2. Upload both to the plugins folder
- Open your server in SparkPanel and go to Files.
- Open the
pluginsfolder and upload both.jarfiles. - Restart the server. Geyser now creates
plugins/Geyser-Spigot/config.yml.
3. Use your server's own port
Bedrock connects over UDP and Java over TCP, so Geyser can use the same port number as your Java server. You don't need an extra port.
- In Files, open
plugins/Geyser-Spigot/config.yml. - Under
bedrock:, setclone-remote-port: true. - Save and restart the server.
g-de-08.serverspark.nl:25570. The part after the colon is the port.4. Join from Bedrock
In Minecraft Bedrock, go to Play → Servers → Add Server. Enter the address without the port as the server address (for example g-de-08.serverspark.nl), and the port as the port. Java players keep using the full address as before.
Want Geyser on its own port?
That's only needed in special setups. Every Minecraft Java plan includes 1 extra port that you add yourself in SparkPanel under Network. Put that port in Geyser's config.yml under bedrock: port: and set clone-remote-port: false. Can't add one on an older server? Email us and we add it for you.
Not working?
Type geyser version in the console to check that Geyser is running. Most problems are an outdated Geyser version after a Minecraft update: download the newest version and restart. Still stuck? Email info@serverspark.nl.
