Which Valheim plan do you need?
Short answer: 4 GB for up to 10 players, which is Valheim's own maximum; 6 GB for big modpacks. Rough guide for typical groups:

In SparkPanel under Settings, choose a server name and password (at least 5 characters). Bringing a world from your PC? Upload the

When something else fits better
- Two or three friends who only play when the host is online: start a world from the game itself, which is free.
- More than 10 players or more than 6 GB of memory: Etheron (8 GB) and Low.ms (10 GB) sell bigger plans than our 6 GB.
- You want the server in Central Europe for the lowest ping from Germany or Austria: pick a host with a German location. Ours is in Helsinki; from the Netherlands and Belgium that is a few dozen milliseconds.

Questions, answered.
How do my friends join?
In Valheim, click Join Game > Add server, enter the address from SparkPanel (Connect) and the password. Xbox and Game Pass players use the join code shown in the console.
Can I set my own password?
Yes, under Settings: at least 5 characters, and it must not be part of the server name, or Valheim won't start.
Can I bring my own world?
Yes. Upload your .db and .fwl files to the worlds_local folder in Files and set World Name to the world's name.
Does crossplay work?
Yes, it's on by default, so Xbox and Game Pass players can join with the join code.
Can I use mods?
Yes. In SparkPanel under Mods, turn mods on with one click (BepInEx) and install Thunderstore mods with one click; mods they need come along. Players on Xbox or Game Pass can't join a modded server.
How many players can join?
Up to 10 at once, which is Valheim's own limit. The 4 GB plan handles a full group of 10 and a handful of mods; big modpacks need Valheim 6 GB. More than 10 needs a server mod and more memory: email us first.
Where is my Valheim server?
In a data centre in Helsinki, Finland. From the Netherlands and Belgium that is a few dozen milliseconds of ping, which plays smoothly. Test your own ping on our locations page.
