FAQ
Questions, answered.
How do I get admin rights?
Your server gets an admin account when it's created: Admin Username and a random Admin Password under Settings. Log in with these in the game.
How do my friends join?
In Project Zomboid, click Join and enter the address and port from SparkPanel (Connect). Each player picks a username and password for this server.
Can I use Steam Workshop mods?
Yes. Add the Workshop IDs to WorkshopItems= and the Mod IDs to Mods= in ServerSpark.ini; the server downloads them on start and players get them automatically.
Where are the settings?
In Files under .cache/Server: ServerSpark.ini for the server rules and ServerSpark_SandboxVars.lua for the world, such as zombie count and loot.
How much RAM do I need?
4 GB runs a server for a group of friends. With many players or lots of mods, email us about a bigger plan.
